I was awarded with SERB-National Postdoctoral Fellowship (nPDF) in 2024 and joined Dr. Ishwariya Venkatesh's lab at CSIR-CCMB. Here I am evaluating the dual effect of nuclear transcription factor-based gene therapy and stem cell grafting on axon regeneration in in vivo model of spinal cord injury. To further confirm the reconnectivity and functional recovery, we are employing optogenetics and electrical stimulation for guided axonal regrowth.

My role major at the position of Sr. Project Associate at DST-TEC was to guide MSMEs and start-ups situated at BioNEST and TBI incubator centres, UoH. We organized seminars, workshops and meetings with start-ups and guided them regarding IPR and regulatory approvals. I was also appointed to build a collaboration between industries and UoH researchers. While working here I improved my organizational and managerial skills.

I was appointed as a Technical Associate under the Materovigilance Programme of India (MvPI) under the Indian Pharmacopeia Commission (IPC), Ghaziabad and posted at PGIMER, Chandigarh. My role is to collect and analyze medical devices associated adverse events and report to IPC. I have reviewed Periodic Safety Update Reports (PSURs), Post Market Surveillance Reports (PMSRs), Periodic Adverse Drug Experience Reports (PADERs). Wrote and reviewed clinical regulatory documents such as clinical study reports on medical device related adverse events, prepared investigator brochures, and informed consent forms according to GCP guidelines.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
I worked as JRF under DST funded Project at Prof. (Dr.) Bikash Medhi at Dept. of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh. My project mainly focused on the effect of herbal medications on pre-clinical model of Autism Spectrum Disorders in GLP conditions. I was responsible for animal surgeries and histological/biochemical analysis. I also worked with a team to develop and validate MPTP-induced Parkinson’s Disease and PTZ-induced convulsions in animal models.
